Liza Prado is the Associate Director of the Colorado Lawyers Committee. She received her law degree from Stanford Law School (JD ’99), and is a graduate of Brown University (BA ’94). Liza practiced law for three years at Cooley Godward LLP in San Francisco before becoming a freelance writer. She is the author of over a dozen travel books and numerous magazine articles, including, most recently, several cover features for DU Law School’s alumni magazine. Liza moved to Denver in 2009; prior to that, she split her time between the San Francisco Bay Area and Latin America. Liza joined the Lawyers Committee in October 2011.
