The Colorado Lawyers Committee is pleased to announce two nonpartisan volunteer opportunities on Election Day. We hope you will sign up for one of these projects and will encourage your colleagues to get involved as well (these activities are not limited to lawyers). Colorado Lawyers Committee Summer Board Meeting
The Colorado Lawyers Committee held its Summer Board Meeting at the law firm of Holland & Hart LLP. Board Chair Kenzo Kawanabe (Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP) presided over the meeting. Colorado Lawyers Committee Executive Director to be Honored by the Colorado Women’s Bar Association
Colorado Lawyers Committee Executive Director, Connie Talmage, to be honored at the Fifth Annual Colorado Women’s Bar Association Foundation “Raising The Bar” Dinner on September 1, 2010. Project Homeless Connect 9, held at Coors Field, was a great success with over 170 individuals served by legal volunteers.
Legal Night Task Force Volunteers Honored
Colorado Lawyers Committee Legal Night Task Force volunteers, Angela Reyes, Tim MacDonald, Susan Cole, and Ilene Lin Bloom, receive Centro San Juan Diego’s Estrella Award. Colorado Lawyers Committee Executive Director to Receive Bar Association’s Highest Award
Colorado Lawyers Committee Executive Director, Connie Talmage, was honored on January 8, 2010 with the Colorado Bar Association’s Award of Merit. This award is presented annually to a member of the association for outstanding service to the association, the legal profession, the administration of justice, and the community. Taylor Ranch News
After leading the Taylor Ranch litigation efforts for over 30 years, Jeff Goldstein has left private practice to become an Administrative Law Judge for the Colorado Department of Labor. The Colorado Lawyers Committee held a surprise luncheon on January 11, 2010 to honor Jeff’s many accomplishments.
