The Colorado Lawyers Committee is excited to announce its new Young Lawyers Division (“CLC YLD”).  The CLC YLD offers young and new lawyers an opportunity to participate in leadership roles within the Colorado Lawyers Committee.


The Young Lawyers Division of the Colorado Lawyers Committee empowers passionate young lawyers to make a difference for children and the underserved through education, advocacy, and systemic change.

CLC YLD Teams and Areas of Focus

The following are the areas of focus for the CLC YLD:

  • Fundraising and Events Team
  • Public Relations Team
  • Nonprofit Legal Audit and Special Projects Team
  • Denver Legal Night Team
  • Hate Crimes Education Team
  • Strategic Planning Team

General Membership in the CLC YLD is open (without charge) to young (under 40) and/or new (in practice less than eight years) attorneys or law students. Members are invited to participate in one or more of the YLD teams. Joining the CLC YLD is a great way to meet other young lawyers and get involved in the Colorado Lawyers Committee.The YLD leadership board is chosen from active general members in the CLC YLD.

Young Lawyers Division Leadership Board

The YLD Leadership Board is comprised of young (under 40) and/or new (in practice less than eight years) attorneys from law firms that contribute to the Lawyers Committee (see the list of contributing law firms here). The Leadership includes a Chair, a Chair-Elect, and the co-chairs of the six CLC YLD teams.
